Community Through Lacrosse

About

Community Through Lacrosse

A volunteer-led youth lacrosse club for the boys and girls of the East End.

Our Story

Started by parents. Built by a community.

East End Lacrosse Club began in 2021, when local parents — former college lacrosse players — set out to fill a gap: kids on the East End had few places to learn the game and be part of a team. What started as clinics at Project MOST has grown into a club of over 150 boys and girls in 2026, learning, competing, and growing together.

The club runs on its community. Volunteer parents coach and organize, and the annual golf outing helps subsidize costs so lacrosse stays within reach for every family.

Our Mission

Confidence, character, and community.

East End Lacrosse Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to promoting the game of lacrosse to the boys and girls of the East End communities of Long Island. We are committed to providing players of all ages and backgrounds an environment that builds confidence, develops character, and fosters the skills needed to reach their fullest potential.

Guiding Principles

What Guides Us

  1. Nurturing Growth

Provide a safe, enjoyable, and competitive platform for all youths in our community to discover and grow their love for lacrosse.

  2. Character Building

Encourage the development of essential life virtues such as citizenship, discipline, character, and teamwork in our young players.

  3. The Joy of Play

Emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, enjoying the thrill of competition, and the fulfillment of setting and achieving personal milestones.

  4. Holistic Development

While lacrosse is our focus, we recognize the importance of developing well-rounded individuals. We encourage our players to engage in other activities and sports.

  5. Inclusivity is Key

Every child, regardless of their skill level, gender, or financial background, should have an equal opportunity to engage in and enjoy the game of lacrosse.

  6. Parent & Community Engagement

Family and community support drive the growth of our club. We offer avenues for parents and local members to get involved and contribute.

Access

Every family welcome

Every child — regardless of skill level, gender, or financial background — should have the chance to play. We provide financial assistance to families in need, particularly those with multiple children in the program, and we encourage multi-sport participation to support the overall development of our players.

Pass Along Your Gear

Outgrown gear can keep a kid on the field. We accept all kinds of new and gently used lacrosse equipment for boys and girls and put it back into play with local families.

Looking Ahead

Growing the game together

We aim to field boys' and girls' teams for every grade from Kindergarten through 6th, preparing players for middle school and high school lacrosse — and, together with the community, we hope to help bring high school lacrosse back to East Hampton High School. Along the way, we look to strengthen ties with schools, town departments, youth sports organizations, and neighbors across the East End.
